Cu Chi Tunnels & Tay Ninh Holy See Tour

1 tours.day

Our guide and private car will pick you up at your hotel to head to Tay Ninh.

The Cao Dai religion is unique to Vietnam and blends both ancient and modern beliefs. Discover the unique religion and learn about its beliefs, culture, and organization. At this temple, followers of the eclectic religion worship saints such as Victor Hugo, Joan of Arch, and even Shakespeare. A highlight of this tour is the very colorful yet formal service held at midday, which you are welcome to observe.

Following the visit to the temple, you will stop at a local restaurant to have lunch before continuing to the Cu Chi Tunnels where you will learn more about the secret world of the Cu Chi freedom fighters, how the tunnels functioned as busy underground cities, and the conditions the people lived in.

You will walk past huge bomb craters - evidence of the heavy bombing campaigns in the region during the American conflict, discover hidden entrances right beneath your feet, wander past tiny little chimneys in the ground that dispersed smoke from the underground kitchens, sample some of the simple cuisines that local fighters would have survived on, and have an opportunity to venture into the tunnels and explore the complex.

Our driver will wait for you to transfer you back to Saigon.
