Our private car with guide will pick you up at your hotel to travel to the Cu Chi Tunnels where you will learn more about the secret world of the Cu Chi freedom fighters, how the tunnels functioned as busy underground cities and the conditions experienced by the people living within them
You will see bomb craters remaining from the brutal military campaigns in the region during the American war; discover hidden entrances to the elaborate tunnel complexes; observe small chimneys in the ground that dispersed smoke from underground kitchens; sample some of the simple cuisine that local fighters survived on, and have an opportunity to venture into the tunnels for a sense of the conditions.
You will be served lunch along the route at a river view restaurant.
After the Cu Chi tunnels, you will be taken to the Lady Trieu Gin Distillery. Here, you will have the privilege of meeting the Master Distiller to learn about their passion for spirts while gaining insights into the unique history and logistics of crafting gin and tonics in tropics. The experience will include a curated tasting flight that takes you through the full spectrum of flavors and aromatics found in their gin.
The visit will conclude with a special gift for you to take home, as a memento of the day.
Transfer back to your hotel in Saigon.
