Day 1: Saigon - Hue

Hue was founded as Vietnam’s capital city by Gia Long, the first king of the Nguyen Dynasty in 1802. It held this position for nine Nguyen dynasties until 1945.Leaving the Imperial Hue Citadel, we will explore the ancient city by boat along Hue's Perfume River. The boat will stop at Thien Mu Pagoda, where you can see the traditional architecture of Hue's pagodas and hear an explanation of the pagoda's name and its sacredness. A little challenge for you to find the inspiration for the Urbanist logo at this pagoda.&nbsp;Next you will visit the mausoleum of King Tu Duc and wander its majestic grounds. &nbsp;The boat will return you to the dock where your private car will be waiting to bring you back to your hotel.Optional Dinner:In the afternoon, take a scenic drive to an ancient village in the environs of Hue.
