Day 1: Saigon - Hue

Breakfast at the hotel.Our local guide picks you up at your hotel to take you to the boat station.&nbsp;We will enjoy a dragon boat cruise on the Perfume River and visit Thien Mu pagoda where you will enjoy a vegetarian meal prepared by the local nuns.Important reminder: Please wear clothes that cover your knees when visiting this pagoda.Your private dragon boat will then take you to visit Hon Chen Temple – a place for worshipping Goddess Thien Y A Na on the bank of the Perfume River. The temple shaped like a downward cup houses a great number of rare and attractive objects handed down from the past.The afternoon continues with a visit to the tombs of emperors Minh Mang and Khai Dinh. Our guides will share a deep understanding of the King’s philosophy of geomancy and how it affected royal life.&nbsp;Notes: In the afternoon, you will have a chance to admire the landscape and enjoy the sunset over the Perfume River.Returning to Hue city, you will visit a local restaurant to savor some specialties: Bun Bo Hue, Banh Khoai and Nem Lui.
